Job Description
  • Assist in managing Placement Programmes, such as Career Conversion Programmes (CCP) or similar type of initiatives, including project strategy design, outreach activities, stakeholder management, programme structures, systems development and project operations.
  • Work with schools on internship programmes.
  • Track the outcomes of the placement programmes through reports and collection of success stories.
  • Collaborate with the various Institutions of Higher Learning, Training Providers in providing suitable courses for the placement programmes, seeking government funding support and engaging in employer outreach activities for placement programmes.
  • Support the day-to-day Learning and Development department in planning and execution of all training initiatives.
  • To manage the training administration, inclusive but not limited to registration, grant application, finance processes, training sponsorships, record updating, course evaluation.
  • To keep up-to-date training records via times soft.
  • To track and monitor the progress of all identified training inclusive of compliance courses and assigned e learning modules while ensuring the implementation of the training plan meets the training targets.
  • Work with the Marketing team in creating marketing materials and tools to support new placement programmes.
  • Market and generate awareness of placement programmes to both organisations and individuals.
  • Participate in career fair.
  • HR special projects and perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management preferably with 2 years of working experience
  • Good knowledge of MOM legislation and TAFEP guidelines.
  • Independent team player and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good stakeholder management skills at different levels of seniority within the organisation.
  • Ability to prioritise and work within tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
