Scientific / Financial Analysis Intern (Jan - Jun 2019) At Boutique Private Equity, Corporate Finance Firm (2 Vacancies)
We are currently looking for 1 to 2 final-year or penultimate-year undergraduate intern(s) to analyse target companies, from Jan - Jun 2019. In doing so, you will get an opportunity to:
- learn about the latest scientific and business developments in the healthcare, biotech and life science sector
- gain exposure to corporate finance and private investments
- develop an entrepreneurial mindset as we work closely with entrepreneurs
Intern(s) will be tasked with:
- analysing Target’s technology, and/or
- analysing Target’s financials and business model, valuation
Ideally, we are looking for intern(s) from the following disciplines:
- biochemistry, biochemical engineering
- life science, molecular biology
- biotechnology
- biomedical sciences/engineering
- business, finance, economics
Please do not hesitate to apply if your discipline is relevant to healthcare and biotech PE VC but not mentioned above.
Additionally, we are looking for candidates who are:
- open-minded and eager to learn new things
- able to understand science & tech, synthesize new knowledge quickly, and present/explain it in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
- good and efficient at writing analysis reports
- preferably familiar with financial modelling if candidate is applying for the role of financial intern
- legally authorized to intern in Singapore
