Era Dance Theatre Ltd – Operations Executive

Since it’s inception in 2009, Era Dance Theatre has been at the fore-front of revitalising traditional arts and culture at the same time striving towards performance excellence. Lead by both the Artistic Director, Mr. Osman Abdul Hamid and the Executive Director, Mr Azrin Abdul Rahim MSoc Sci, EDT has performed and produced more than 200 shows in Singapore and across Asia Pacific. EDT produces shows of the highest quality and is the first Malay traditional arts company to have its own regional music and dance festival called the Muara Festival, held annually since 2011 at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, attracting more than 600 participants from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and an average audienceship of 10,000 people over the 3-day festival.

• Maintenance of equipment and site space Recce
• Venue readiness, space recce and technical requirements
• Logistics for props/dancers and foreign talents
• Double up as Stage Manager or Production Manager (transition)
• Support Business Development in publicity
