-Islamic Banking and sustainability Intern will gain new skills in environmental sustainability while providing education and outreach to colleagues within the Bank.
-Intern will gain hands-on outreach skills in fostering sustainable behaviors while also gaining valuable experience learning how clients, governments, and businesses are taking action and monitoring their environmental impacts.
-Professional development is another component of this internship position provided through Sustainability 101 training.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
1. To manage achievement of sustainability training in reporting to Group Sustainability
2. To prepare monthly report for Senior management / Business Management committee
3. To prepare draft responses to local regulatory requirements, where required
4. To perform control testing on BAU Sustainability procedure requirements
5. To provide feedback to Business Units from Sustainability perspective on due diligence requirements as part of Group Sustainability and Sustainable Financing Policies
6. Keeping a written record of meetings
Business Performance and Management
- Product Development of new products, such as Personal financing-i, Hajj Savings-i:
- Engage with and foster close relationship with local regulatory authorities or other authorities.
- To research on digital partnership and work with Islamic Embedded staff to implement the tie ups.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to perform User acceptance testing and regression testing.
- To work with Islamic Embedded staff on the idea generation and implementation to launch the products via digital marketing.
- Collaborate jointly with all Islamic Embedded staff of Islamic Banking to drive P&L growth and customer portfolio to meet the long term strategy for CIMB Group in reference to Islamic Banking business.
