Job Description

Responsibilities

· Policy Analysis Support: Provide analytical support for climate policy (e.g. Article 6) analysis including conducting research, synthesizing findings, and offering insights to inform decision-making processes. This involves staying updated on current policies, regulations, and initiatives at both SEA regional and international levels.

· Industry Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze industry trends in nature based solutions, sustainable finance and impact investing, providing insights on market dynamics, and innovative approaches

· Market Research: Conduct thorough market research on relevant organizations (e.g. competitors or potential partners), carbon projects, and emerging trends to facilitate internal strategy development and benchmarking

· Communication and Collaboration: Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations effectively through written reports, presentations, and other channels

 

Qualifications

· Strong motivation to work in the sustainability sector

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 1-3 years of market research or industry analysis experience

· Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to critically evaluate information, synthesize complex data, and communicate findings effectively.

· Experience and knowledge in sustainability, climate policy, environmental science, economics or related areas is desirable

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and stakeholders.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools for data analysis and visualization.

· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
