BloomBack – eCommerce Operations Executive

BloomBack is a team of like-minded individuals who believe in the power of flowers and crafted eco-friendly gifts made with preserved flowers with initiative to empower marginalized communities. 

Responsibilities

• Manage operations team and oversee day to day orders to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee stock inventory, ensuring stock accuracy and to address any discrepancy
• Responsible to source, negotiate and procure materials from both local and oversea vendors.
• Assist with daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
• Track and report key functional operations and procurement metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• Other ad-hoc duties when required

Applicants must fulfil the following requirements:

• Min 2 years of relevant working experience in operations/supply chain 
• Good relationship management skills. Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to speak and type in Mandarin as some of our vendors are only conversant in Mandarin
• Good negotiation skills 
• Excellent and prompt communication skills and teamwork
• Multitasker with good project management skills
• Resourceful problem solver with good critical thinking skills
• Highly adaptable in fast paced environments, must be able to think and act quickly with changing demands.
• Humble to learn and willing to do ground work especially during seasonal peak period 
• Show empathy especially when working with beneficiaries
