Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Be part of a game development team focusing on fresh ideas and concepts for the indie games market.
  • Utilise your passion in game design and storytelling to brainstorm and prototype game concepts
  • Assist the game director in the game development process
  • Understand about the player experience and help realise them in the features you will be working on
  • Prototype, implement, balance and playtest features
  • Help out in the documentation process
  • Try out other related activities such as game marketing, art, music, etc. when schedule allows

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Game Design, Game Development, Computer Science or equivalent 
  • Essential to have game development portfolio 
  • Having experience in engines such as unreal or unity would be good
  • Being able to write game code in C++ or C# would be a major plus 
  • Must be able to learn and use visual scripting tools such as Playmaker, Blueprints, or Construct 3 within the internship period
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Can operate independently, without close supervision
