Job Description

Electrical Assembly Technician (1 Year Contract) 

In this contract role, you will be supporting the Test Cell Solutions department by performing the following duties: 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled module / equipment.
  • Record assembly details and feedback to Engineering department (E.g., cable length, cable/wire routing path, drawing mistakes etc.)

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

  • Preferably 2 years or more experience in wire hardness, wire routing and cable assembly.
  • Understand electrical safety, be able to handle electrical device with safety in mind.
  • Basic electrical knowledge; various type of electrical power AC/DC, 1-ph/3-ph, voltage, current, resistance.
  • Basic knowledge in electrical component, e.g., circuit breaker, fuse, isolator, power supply and etc.
  • Skill in wire harness, wire crimping, soldering, wire stripping, cable routing, handling find wires etc.
  • Able to understand electrical drawing, schematic, cable assembly, drawing, color coding and etc.
  • Knowledgeable in using the appropriate tool to perform the wire hardness job.
  • Knowledge in using multi-meter for IO check and troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable to work overtime or on night shift if required.
