Sales Intern
Reporting To: Sales Director / APJ Sales Team
Role Overview
The Sales Intern will support the APJ sales team in driving lead generation, market research, prospect engagement, and pipeline development activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise technology sales, cloud transformation solutions, AI-driven platforms, and engagement with senior business and technology leaders across the region.
This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in technology sales, business development, consulting, or digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify target accounts across Singapore and APJ markets.
- Build and maintain prospect databases using LinkedIn, CRM platforms, and market intelligence tools.
- Support outbound prospecting campaigns through email, social selling, and cold outreach activities.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Market & Industry Research
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target accounts.
- Identify opportunities within cloud, AI, data, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Prepare account profiles and executive briefings for client meetings.
Sales Support
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and client-facing materials.
- Support CRM management, pipeline tracking, and sales reporting.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and customer engagement activities.
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Collaborate with marketing teams on lead generation campaigns and events.
- Assist in webinar, conference, and networking event preparation.
- Support content sharing and social media engagement activities.
Requirements
Education
- Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in technology, cloud computing, AI, or digital transformation.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Comfortable engaging with professionals and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, or marketing tools is an advantage.
