Abbott Laboratories (Singapore) Pte Ltd – QA Intern (APAC Regional Office)

The incumbent intern will be joining the Quality Assurance department in the APAC & China Regional Office, Established Pharmaceuticals Division. This role will be at the core of implementing the quality management systems in the APAC and China region. We are looking for an intern that is willing to learn about the Pharmaceutical business in Quality Compliance and Quality Systems. The key responsibilities are as follows:

1. Drive Quality Compliance projects and activities on GMP systems such as Training System Management and will be instrumental in driving improvements in quality systems including ISOTrain training system administration. Key point person for training management topics, trainer for the APAC region’s commercial affiliates and sites, performing past due, taken past due reconciliation reports, update of Training Matrix and Training Annual Reviews.
2. Oversee the Documentation Management as the region’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) on document hierarchy, implementation review for divisional and Abbott quality procedure roll out and reconciliation and ensure information is synchronized. Drive improvement projects in leaning out existing processes and ensuring compliance is met.
3. Manage Regulatory Intelligence monitoring programme across the APAC commercial affiliates. Ensure reporting is current and documentation complete.
4. Supplier management support in Trackwise/Soltraq (online system to manage suppliers) at APAC site-gap mitigation. Track open tasks progress. Assist with the coordination of approvals of Quality Agreements with Third Party Manufacturers.
5. Assist in regional management review presentation slides preparation and ensure completeness of management review hardcopies. Assist with Coordinate metric and KPI. Assist with Project coordination.
6. Others as assigned.

Minimum Experience:

• Undergraduates of Science, Engineering, and other relevant Technical Disciplines.

Personal traits:

• Meticulous, team player, must be able to effectively deal with problems and internal customers. Excellent collaboration skills, communication skills, problem solving competence & organizational skills. Must be willing to handle and process large volume of paperwork. – Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, MS Access. System experience preferred using Trackwise, Excel.
