Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of YTL Power International Berhad, is in the business of producing, wholesaling, trading and retailing of energy; with a primary focus on electricity. - Assist in routine operational activities, including monitoring plant parameters, and recording data.
- Work on system studies to identify bottlenecks, and propose ideas to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in Operations Excellence initiatives, such as workflow enhancements, digitalisation projects, and optimisation efforts.
- Support projects that digitise operational knowledge, and help build resources for team learning.
- Collect and interpret operational data to provide insights for continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in troubleshooting efforts and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment issues or process problems.
- Assist in reviewing and updating operating procedures and documentation to keep them accurate and effective.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects that give exposure to different aspects of power plant operations.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Positive attitude, eager to learn, and comfortable working in an operational plant environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic software tools.
- Curious, proactive, and willing to challenge the status quo constructively to bring fresh ideas.
