The YTL PowerSeraya Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Power International Berhad, is an integrated energy company with its core business in generation and retailing of electricity. With a licensed generating capacity of 3100MW, YTL PowerSeraya is one of Singapore largest electricity generators.
The Group has two subsidiaries: Seraya Energy, the retail arm that provides a range of innovative energy solutions to meet the diverse needs of its customers; as well as PetroSeraya, the physical oil trading arm of the Group that provides fuel-related services to customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a trainee in the Performance Excellence team, you will support the design, implementation and maintenance of data channels and data processing work flows to manage the collection, storage and analysis of information in a scalable, repeatable and secure manner so as to aid in
strategic projects and decision support.
Trainee to be involved in:
1. Define optimal approaches to data collection, processing and warehousing
2. Ensure high quality data collection capability and accuracy in relevant systems and in corresponding workflow processes to better facilitate analytic delving into in-depth insights
3. Perform detailed data analysis for plant data
Design data models to support analytics reports, data transformation and data science models
Requirements:
- Degree in Data Sciences or Engineering discipline with major in Data Analytics subjects
- Keen to establish career in a Power Generation plant
- Self-driven, with good working attitude and a good team player
