Job Description

Roles 

The role of graduate trainee (Sales & Marketing) is open for fresh Degree graduates under the #SGUnitedTraineeship programme.

This position reports to Head of Sales and Marketing.

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to support the Sales & Marketing Team in B2B outreach to client / partner prospects.

The job scope will be all-encompassing, not just emphasizing on the technical aspects, but also soft skills like communication, negotiation and presentation.

Suitable candidates will be under traineeship for 9 months and good performers will be considered for conversion to permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute Business Development Plan in Singapore primarily for System Certification and related products and services

2. Understand and devise pricing strategy for each product (Certifications / Training) for various verticals

3. Work closely with the Sales Head and align efforts to achieve over all business targets by conducting primary and secondary research

4. Manage a few accounts, clients & consultants for continual enquiry generation

5. May have to travel within the region to meet potential clients and stake holders (post CoVid situation)

6. Strategy formulation, plan, define and establish a short term / long-term business development plan

7. Estimation and Quotation preparation. Initial vetting of contracts as advised upon by the Sales Head.

8. Prepare and conduct joint review of monthly sales reports with Sales Head

9. Assist the Sales Head on live projects and real time client interaction

10. Manage all social media activities of the business organization by managing content and ensure its reach to client. Creating content for listing platforms, websites and maintaining/ updating activity for Digital Presence.

11. Be actively involved in search engine optimisation(SEO) efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.)

12. Edit / design and post videos and audio content to online sites

13. Track, measure and interpret the analytics of all campaigns and digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools.

14. Carrying out other duties as may be entrusted by the Sales Head

Competencies:

Detailed training on the products and services identified for growth in the given financial year

Comprehensive study of Business verticals of TUV Nord and prepare a marketing campaign for each of those verticals by conducting primary and secondary research

Commercial training on various aspects of a Sales process including through training on terms and conditions used in preparation of Contracts

Training on how to make an impressive sales pitch to a potential client including preparation of sales presentation and relevant marketing material

Financial training with regards to closed sales and understanding of the credit terms (Hedging etc)

Comprehensive study of Digital Marketing Landscape of Testing, Inspection, Certification Indiustry in Singapore

Craft a content marketing plan and execute effective content marketing and design campaigns across multiple marketing channels and platforms.

 

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for SG United Traineeships:

Bachelor Degree holder

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and

Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or

Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday: 9am to 6 pm

Training allowance: 

$2,500/month
