Established in 2018, Young Sustainable Impact Southeast Asia (YSI SEA) is a registered social enterprise whose mission is to empower Southeast Asian youth to solve sustainability challenges with a measurable impact.
Based in Singapore, YSI SEA’s operations have a heavy regional emphasis. We:
- Run a fully funded annual innovation programme for up to 30 youth to start start-ups addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Maintain a strong community of over 2500 people who are identifying, discussing and solving sustainability problems all around the region
- Run workshops to provide clarity and enable innovation at the intersection of entrepreneurship and sustainability, with a focus on the Circular Economy, the Future of Food and Agriculture, and Clean Energy Transitions.
We currently have a strong team of extremely dedicated volunteers who go above and beyond to push for sustainable development in the region, and we are looking to hire a full-time team to push the boundaries even further.
As YSI SEA’s Innovation Programme Intern, your primary responsibility is to be the coordinator of various aspects related to our 2019 innovation programme. You will be involved in the programme at all 3 stages; the Online programme, the Singapore Innovation Programme and the Post-Programme Follow-Up. We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovation, sustainable development, and helping to create sustainability start-ups resilient enough to weather the storm.
