Young AMP is the youth wing of AMP Singapore and we were officially launched on 10th October 2004 by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan at the Inaugural Young Professionals Summit. The role of Young AMP is to provide platforms or avenues for the interested youths and young professionals to carry on AMP's mission contributing to the overall aspiration of creating a dynamic Muslim community.

Young AMP regularly organises seminars and workshops to encourage critical thinking among youths. Participants of Young AMP's activities are equipped with skills and knowledge aimed at developing their capacity to be future leaders of the community. They are also exposed to other relevant issues at the national and global levels.
Function of Young AMP as part of AMP
To mobilize young professionals’ role in the advancement of the Muslim community.
1. Empower young Professionals, Managers, Executives, Technicians (PMETs) to be agents of change, engaged in advancing the community.
2. Connect young PMETs to be actively involved in discussions of current developments within & outside Singapore.
3. Develop young PMETs to be the next change agents, community activists & future leaders who are also more economically competitive.
4. Promote peace & unity by building & strengthening ties within the Malay Muslim community as well as the other communities in Singapore.
Fulfilling this mobilizer role, we strive to:
a) Rejuvenate Malay Muslim Professionals’ roles in the community & at national level
b) Enhance through the outreach to the communities of professionals especially for the participation of Early Year Professionals (EYPs).
c) Facilitate a stronger presence of Malay Muslim professionals in Singapore's nation-building through greater contributions in diverse areas at multiple levels.
Provide secretariat and administrative support for all of Young AMP's events or activities.
Engage and contribute in the management of the co-working space
Initiate and develop new initiatives for young professionals
Establish and maintain relationship with student leaders from various student bodies and networks
Manage members' and volunteers database
Requirements:
A Diploma holder with at least 1 year experience in Events Management
Good communication and outreach capabilities
Strong social media and networking skills
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
Website creation and development is a bonus
Able to occasionally work on weekends
