The new R&D Competence Center in Singapore focuses on the business areas of sensor technology and power electronics, which serve the industry, energy, building, and green mobility sectors.
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Process Assistant Engineer. Someone with a proven track record and a genuine interest in supporting technical and corporate processes in the development of electronics and power electronics products, including, but not limited to, sensors, industrial power supplies, power converters, etc. If you bring a wealth of experience in product management, coupled with a passion for advancing electronics and power electronics, we welcome you to apply for this role.
Scopes and Responsibilities
- Support product managers on both technical and non-technical aspects of the process in managing the different products’ market study, product roadmap, product documentation, product launch package, and marketing assets.
- Ownership of PLM/PDM Platform (Eg, Teamcenter) and responsible for continuous update, change management, process management over the platform, and preparing process flow diagrams
- Coordinate with different internal stakeholders to push forward product management tasks in product development.
- Ability to work with external vendors (Eg, CAD, Packaging, Video, Translation service providers) to meet deadlines.
- Proofread technical and marketing documents, and follow up with relevant departments for publication of these documents.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Diploma in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience using PLM/PDM tools.
- Knowledge and experience in product lifecycle management and product development processes are a plus.
- Hands-on experience in using Teamcenter is a plus.
- Ability to work with various stakeholders to facilitate the product development process.
