Tradeasia International is rapidly growing international trading company and our company is involved in sourcing and marketing a complete range of basic industrial chemicals for variety of manufacturing industries viz. textiles, detergents, food, paper and pulp, paints, effluent treatment etc. We are headquartered in Singapore and have 9 other offices in Asia viz. China, Indonesia, Dubai, Vietnam, India, Korea, Philippines, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
Tradeasia International was setup with the sole intention of carrying out chemical distribution services especially to commodity industries in many parts of the world. Today, Tradeasia International represents a growing number of businesses that are serving a variety of markets. We source and supply about 500-600 containers monthly to our customers worldwide.

We provide excellent connectivity with the emerging markets and firmly believe in timely and perfectly managed procurement services. Tradeasia offers supply chain management service, inbound/outbound logistics and chemical products consulting. At Tradeasia, our services are always client based and are anticipated for each customer.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Business Development (50%)

1. Sales and Marketing of Chemicals.

2. Conduct market research, source and identify potential customers and Suppliers.

3. Understand the requirements of the customers from technical prospective and deliver the best solution.

4. Sending Daily reports on business activities, market trends to senior management.

5. Attend local trade shows or conferences


Digital Marketing (30%)

1. Content Development.

2. Social Media Marketing.

3. Email and Newsletter Marketing.


Miscellaneous Duties (20%)

1. Assist in Data entry in CRM and Accounting Software. Training will be provided.

2. Any other adhoc duties as assigned by Senior Management.


Requirements:

1. Excellent communication and time management skills.

2. Experience in Chemical Trading will be an advantage

3. Ability to effectively interact with customers in a fast paced environment.

4. Proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and is internet savvy.

5. Team Player as well as ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

6. Flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

7. Language Skills : English (Required), Mandarin(Optional), Malay(Optional, will be an added advantage)
