• Excellent editorial capabilities, including writing, editing, proofreading online articles.
• Have at least 2 years of experience working for a publication in a managerial role.
• Have at least 2 years of editorial experience in business-related topics (writing, editing and proofreading articles).
• Have stellar leadership skills.
• Able to delegate work effectively to optimise productivity of the content team.
• Understands SEO writing principles.
• Have experience in writing with WordPress.
• Up-to-date with current events and the latest trends.
• Able to quickly identify quality content that is engaging and valuable to our readers.
• Strong logical and critical thinking skills when it comes to managing written content.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong internet research skills.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Come up with a content plan, strategy and editorial calendar.
• Oversee all written content from our editorial team by proofreading, critiquing, and editing articles.
• Ensure that all written content is SEO optimised.
• Delegate work to our editorial team based on the editorial calendar.
• Come up with social media captions for articles posted on our social media channels.
• Schedule and publish our written content online onto our website and social media platforms according to the editorial calendar.
• Ensure that all article images/GIFs/videos are relevant, up-to-date and engaging.
