• Have at least 1 year of editorial experience (writing, editing and proofreading articles) at a publication.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in copywriting (for websites and social media).
• Have experience in writing business-related content, such as finance, legal, marketing and tech topics.
• Up-to-date with current events and the latest trends.

Excel in creating relatable, engaging and helpful content from a reader's point of view.

Have a keen eye for picking the right images/GIFs for written articles.

Able to critique, edit and vet articles to ensure high quality of written content.

• Understands basic SEO and SEO writing principles.
• Strong logical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong internet research skills.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
• Able to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Conduct thorough online research for all written content.
• Write, critique, proofread and edit articles according to deadlines given.
• Website copywriting.
• SEO optimisation for all written content (articles and website copywriting).
• Come up with meta titles and descriptions for all articles.
• Come up with social media captions/copy for all articles.
• Find relevant and engaging images/GIFs to accompany articles.

BIG BONUS IF YOU:

• Are familiar with SEO writing.
• Are familiar with WordPress.
• Have a keen eye for design.
• Love memes and pop culture.
• Are familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Have a witty sense of humour.
