- Company Profile
Thereafter Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based estate planning and legacy coordination company dedicated to helping individuals and families prepare for the future with confidence. Through estate planning solutions and educational initiatives, we aim to improve financial literacy by making complex estate and financial topics accessible, practical, and easy to understand.
As part of our commitment to promoting financial literacy, we produce fun and research driven content covering personal finance, investing, estate planning, wealth preservation, and economic developments. We are seeking suitable interns who enjoy research, critical thinking, and creating educational content that benefits the wider community.
- Job Description
This internship offers an opportunity to explore those questions through research, analysis and content creation. You’ll work with publicly available information covering global markets, investing, economics, personal finance and business developments, and help transform your findings into clear, engaging educational content for our media channels.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys learning independently, making sense of complex information and communicating ideas in a way that others can easily understand.
Your Responsibilities:
A significant part of the internship will involve staying informed about developments across financial markets and the broader economy. You may track market news, macroeconomic indicators, listed companies, industries, investment themes and emerging business trends, then investigate topics further to understand the underlying issues.
Your work may include:
Producing research notes, market updates and concise briefing materials.
Investigating investment, economics and financial literacy topics.
Identifying important trends, themes and stories worth exploring.
Comparing and synthesising information from publicly available sources.
Turning research findings into clear explanations for a general audience.
Supporting the development of educational materials for different media platforms.
Finance & Investment Education:
You’ll also explore topics that are relevant to everyday financial decision-making. These may include saving and budgeting, investing fundamentals, stocks and bonds, inflation, interest rates, financial markets, long-term financial planning and how to interpret financial news.
The emphasis is on education and understanding. You will not be expected to provide personalised financial advice, investment recommendations or recommendations based on an individual's circumstances.
You may contribute to a variety of formats, including:
Short-form educational videos
Social media posts
Written explainers
Market commentary
Infographics
Educational articles
Research summaries
Other digital content
You’ll have room to contribute your own ideas about topics, formats and storytelling approaches. Whether it is finding a simpler way to explain a difficult concept or identifying a timely topic that audiences would find useful, your perspective will be encouraged.
This is an opportunity to develop not only your research skills, but also your ability to communicate financial information clearly and creatively.
Wealth & Business Topics:
The internship may also provide exposure to subjects such as estate planning, succession planning and business continuity.
Through research and educational projects, you’ll explore how personal wealth, family considerations, business ownership and long-term planning can intersect. Depending on the projects available, you may also gain broader exposure to private wealth, commercial matters and financial services.
Where opportunities arise, you may participate in internal learning sessions or observe discussions involving experienced professionals, giving you a closer look at how these topics are approached in practice.
Who We're Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious and genuinely interested in at least one of the following:
Global financial markets
Investing
Economics
Personal finance
Business and corporate trends
Wealth planning
Financial education
Digital content and media
You don’t need to know everything before starting. What matters more is your willingness to learn, ability to research independently and interest in understanding how things work.
You should be able to communicate your ideas clearly, work carefully with information and take ownership of assigned projects. An interest in video, social media or digital content creation is a plus, as you’ll have opportunities to experiment with different ways of presenting information.
What You’ll Develop:
By the end of the internship, you’ll have gained practical experience at the intersection of financial research, analysis and content creation.
You can expect to develop a stronger understanding of markets, economics, investing and personal finance while building practical skills in research, critical thinking, information synthesis and communication.
You’ll also have the opportunity to build a tangible portfolio of work across written, visual and video formats — giving you something concrete to demonstrate what you’ve learned and created during the internship.
Most importantly, you’ll learn how to take a complex financial topic, understand the substance behind it and turn it into something meaningful and accessible for an audience.
