The Gym at Alpha Vitality – Gym Assistant / Front of House

We are looking for a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Gym Assistant *** Front of House. This role is central to our mission of providing a seamless and professional guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene on our gym floor.

Member Engagement & Front of House:

• Act as the primary face of the facility, providing a warm and professional welcome.

• Manage appointment scheduling and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.

• Assist in administration and record-keeping.

• Support social media initiatives by helping create educational content and event-related posts.

Gym Floor Assistance & Safety:

• Monitor the fitness floor to ensure safety and provide guidance on proper equipment usage.

• Assist in personal training and rehabilitation programs.

• Operate specialised wellness equipment and recovery technologies under trained protocols.

• Maintain strict hygiene standards, ensuring all equipment and rooms are sanitised between sessions.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a passion for the fitness and wellness industry.

• Education: Relevant Personal Training Certificate and/or fitness education (e.g., NITEC or Higher NITEC in Fitness or Sport).

• Safety Credentials: Must hold a valid CPR & AED.

• Skills: Experience in customer service is an advantage.

• Bonus Skills: Knowledge and experience in social media marketing to create educational and event content is a significant plus.

• Attributes: Highly energetic with a cheerful personality and a keen eye for detail.

• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays.
