Description
As a GIS Software Engineer, you will focus on analysing and investigating new Map Specifications and Data Features, mainly focusing on Open Street Map and Crowd Source Data. This will include analysing, processing and combining the different open Data Sources to derive maps for different needs. A typical data as a GIS Software Engineer in the Content Team will involve the following:
•Explore and keep up to date on OSM or other Open Data Source development
•Maintain, enhance and develop software utilities, test harnesses and tools for geospatial data management and processing
•Support the maintenance and deployment of geospatial data to different systems
•Ensure assigned maps are being deployed successfully and on time
•Map Testing and Documentation
