T Marketing – BBQ Chef / Grill Cook

The Good Family BBQ is currently looking for skilled BBQ Chefs to join our team for exciting and delicious outdoor events. As a BBQ Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and grilling a variety of meats and vegetables to perfection, creating a memorable culinary experience for both our clients and their guests.

Responsibilities:

• Grill a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables according to client preferences.
• Prepare marinades, rubs, and sauces to enhance the flavour of grilled dishes.
• Monitor and manage grill temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
• Coordinate with event organisers and clients to understand specific preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organised grilling station, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact with guests, answering any questions about the grilling process.
• Collaborate with event staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

What we are looking for:

• Past experience with barbecuing or grilling.
• Knowledge of various grilling techniques and methods.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Requirements:

• Culinary diploma or some experience in the food industry.
• Previous experience as a BBQ Chef or Grill Cook is not required but would be an added advantage.
• Passion for creating delicious and visually appealing grilled dishes.
• Ability to adapt to different event settings and client preferences.
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations.
