Marketing – Interactive – Digital Marketing Intern

This is an on-site role for an Intern at MARKETING-INTERACTIVE in Singapore. The role entails tasks such as social media management, video editing, writing press releases and broadcasting news on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the brand’s social media channels, including planning, creating, scheduling and publishing content across platforms.

• Create engaging social media content, including captions, visuals and short-form videos, tailored to different platforms and audiences.

• Edit videos using tools such as CapCut to produce engaging short-form content for social media and other digital platforms.

• Monitor social media platforms to identify emerging trends, viral conversations and content opportunities that can be turned into stories for our readers.

• Develop and adapt content across the brand’s channels, including the website, social media, podcasts and video, exploring different formats and storytelling approaches to engage our audiences.

• Conduct research to uncover interesting industry developments, emerging trends and story ideas with accuracy and objectivity.

• Write clear, concise and engaging news articles that adhere to our editorial standards.

• Work collaboratively with the editorial team, communicate proactively and seek clarification when needed.

• Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom while maintaining accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools, with the ability to manage social media accounts and create engaging content for different audiences.
  
  
• Proficiency in video editing tools, preferably CapCut, and an interest in creating short-form video content for digital platforms.
  
  
• A proactive and resourceful attitude, with the ability to pick up new skills quickly, adapt to changing priorities and take initiative.
  
  
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced newsroom, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
  
  
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills and an eye for accuracy and consistency.
  
  
• A willingness to ask questions, seek clarity when needed and learn from feedback.
  
  
• The ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  
  
• A passion for writing, storytelling and keeping up with the latest news, industry developments and emerging trends.
  
  
• Strong written and spoken English, with an interest in exploring different storytelling formats across articles, social media, podcasts and video.
  
  
• Students pursuing a degree or diploma in journalism, communications, media studies or a related field are welcome to apply. Previous experience in video editing, content creation, social media management or writing is a plus, but not essential.
