Switch Automation – PR & Events Coordinator (Intern)

We are on the lookout for the APAC marketing team in Singapore for a minimum of 6 months, with opportunities to convert into a full time role.

• Provide a weekly report on market research and industry analysis
• Build a clear competitive analysis for Switch Automation on the Smart Buildings and climate tech ecosystem
• Research on events and awards for Switch globally and put together materials for submission
• Work closely with PR agency to coordinate interviews, story features and media materials to maximise media outreach efforts
• Assist with the development of communications materials, including press releases, factsheets and infographics
• Actively contributes to brainstorming sessions for webinar content, develop webinar outlines and coordinate dry runs/rehearsals with webinar participants
• Manage press room to keep our media mentions/articles updated
• Supporting the APAC Marketing team with operational and administrative activities when necessary

Requirements:

• Penultimate or final year undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications (preferred, but open to other disciplines as well)
• Strong oral and written communication skills; bilingual preferred
• Comfortable with managing data. Any experience with BI tools (Tableau) would be an advantage
• A proactive attitude, someone who is detail oriented and also a 'big picture' thinker
• Ability to commit at least 6 months of internship for a full Switch immersion (flexible working hours)
• A passion for sustainability is a huge plus
