Job Description

Sutton Art Consulting has an exciting opportunity for the right person to assist with an art consulting project for a five star hotel brand from inception to completion. 

Key Responsibilities

• Mostly work from home and attend regular internal as well as client meetings together.

• Study and understand the concept and designs provided by the interior designer. 

• Preparation of the following documents: Artwork Concept, Design Development, Artwork Schedule and Specifications. 

• Research and source suitable artworks for the project, keeping in mind the allocated budget. 

• Assist with the supervision of the art commissioning, procurement and installation processes.

Job Requirements

• Must hold recognized qualification within Interior Design, Art History or Graphic Design.

• Must be competent in Microsoft Office applications. InDesign is a bonus.

• Willing to occasionally travel to Indonesia

• Able to commit to the project from start to finish is a must 

• The individual should be based in Singapore and hold Singapore citizenship or permanent residency. 

• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

• A strong sense of responsibility towards the project. 

• Able to work independently and in a small team in order to meet deadlines.

• Able to multi-task and work under pressure.

• Possess a great sense of Creativity, Initiative and Reliability.

• Enjoy the collaborative process brainstorming. 

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years experience in art consulting for hospitality spaces. 

• Experience sourcing artists/artisans in SE Asia is preferred.
