ST Engineering – Venture Building Intern

As a Venture Building Intern, you will be participating in an 8-10 week high intensity Venture Sprint, and will be involved in the following activities/tasks: 

• Customer and Market Research & Testing: Conduct customer and/or Market research and analysis of results 
• Design work: Industrial/product design, UI/UX design, prototyping, preparation of pitch decks & presentation materials 
• Deal Sourcing & Analysis: Scouting new leads/start-ups which are potential deals for investments and preparation of presentation materials
• Venture Building: Support Venture Builders in the development of new businesses and identify areas of improvement
• General Administrative Tasks: Support Venture Builders in organizing workshops, seminars, and/or events

Preferred Skills and Experience (demonstrated competency in at least 3 of the following areas): 

• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 
• Familiar with CAD tools that are meant for physical prototyping 
• Familiar with UI/UX design and aware of latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies 
• Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc.) 
• Familiar with Qualitative User Research Familiar with Market Research and Analysis 
• Familiar with Data Analytics and Visualisation 

 Required Skills and Traits: 

• Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. 
• Fluent in English with good communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation) 
• Driven and independent individual, able to thrive in a dynamic, changing and fast-paced work environment
