Responsibilities
1.Food Safety
• Assist the Food Safety team in reviewing food safety documentation to ensure alignment with Singapore Food Regulations and internal FSMS requirements.
• Support basic food safety risk assessments (e.g. checklist reviews, observations) under supervision.
• Assist in updating food safety procedures, records, and process documentation when required.
• Support the review and tracking of food safety complaints in internal reporting systems.
• Assist with monthly food safety data compilation and report preparation.
• Coordinate with the team to arrange food sample testing with approved laboratories and track results.
• Support investigations of food safety incidents by collecting information and maintaining records (final review conducted by senior team members).
2. Audits & Inspections
• Support internal food safety audits and site inspections by:
a. Preparing audit checklists
b. Compiling audit evidence
c. Assisting with report formatting and follow-up tracking
• Assist in coordination of external audits (e.g. BSI, regulatory inspections) by preparing documents and audit files.
• Support follow-up of audit findings and corrective actions, including evidence tracking.
• Assist the team in supplier documentation reviews related to food safety and quality (under guidance).
3. Training
• Assist in preparing food safety training materials (slides, handouts, toolbox talks).
• Support training coordination, including attendance tracking and documentation.
• Assist in monitoring completion of food safety training and OJT records.
• Support food safety awareness campaigns and internal communications.
4. General Support
• Support daily administrative and coordination tasks related to the Food Safety & HSE function.
• Participate in team meetings, site visits, and learning sessions.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or HSE Leadership Team, within the scope of the internship.
