The Job

Responsibilities:

• Define product and service vision and requirements based on customer needs and business objectives for new products
• Partner with business stakeholders to to define and clarify business requirements
• Accountable for driving project discovery and inception activities including competitor and customer research, vendor selection and costs
• Define minimum viable product (MVP) for product launch and successive iteration and horizon mapping
• Accountable for ongoing stakeholder engagement to ensure that all project scope decisions are understood and agreed to and that all their needs are met
• Responsible for commercialization of new products such as pricing, marketing, SOP, training and other internal processes required to launch a product
•  Product and platform enhancements
• Own ongoing maintenance issues to ensure services are demonstrating continuous improvement and continuing to meet customer needs
• Communicate changes internally when enhancements are made to ensure business readiness
• Roadmap Management 
• Work with development teams to prioritize product and resource allocation according to business priorities
• Manage delivery timelines and coordinate launch requirements with business as required from development teams

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

• Industry tertiary qualified with at least 5 years of experience in product development and working in an agile environment
• Agile Product Owner qualifications is highly desirable
• Financial services industry experience working with digital products and platforms
• Proven ability and experience with successfully managing projects to completion
• Proven ability to deal with ambiguous situations
• Experienced in building best practice and innovative customer experiences, customer engagement, and product development
