The Job
Role Overview:
Our client is currently seeking Forensic Document Examiners with regional expertise across Africa, Asia, Central & South America, and Eastern Europe to support our legal and human rights work. This is a remote, freelance opportunity ideal for professionals with a background in forensic science and document analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and analyze official documents for authenticity and consistency
- Prepare professional written opinions and reports suitable for legal proceedings
- Provide expert commentary and insight into document formats, issuance processes, and potential irregularities in your country(ies) of expertise
- Collaborate with legal teams, researchers, and expert networks on a case-by-case basis
Ideal Candidate
- Formal training or certification in forensic document examination
- Proven experience handling or analyzing official documents from one or more countries in Africa, Asia, Central/South America, or Eastern Europe
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Familiarity with legal, immigration, or asylum-related documentation a plus
- Availability to work on a flexible, freelance basis
