Job Description
Since 2008, SIPF has seen numerous volunteers who have spent their time meaningfully to make this festival possible in Singapore. Now entering into 3rd edition with broader activities for the community, we are looking for passionate individuals who want to be part of the festival and to experience a rewarding learning opportunity behind the scene and during the festival itself.

As an international platform for photography, you could expect meaningful engagement with local and oversea professionals, team, make international contacts, build meaningful projects and team experience. The internship is open to students, artists, and individuals interested in photography and living in Singapore.

The intern will report to respective planning committee members and curators of the festival that they are assigned to work with. Interns must be prepared to work with irregular schedule including weekends and late nights, especially the week leading to the actual festival and during the festival. Interns are encouraged take initiatives to contribute beyond one’s respective job scope, and to assist other groups toward successful completion of tasks as a team.

Eligibility

Age: 18 & above

Interest & Knowledge of photography

Background with study in Photography, Arts, Arts Management, Mass Communication and Multimedia stands a higher chance

Working Hours & Commitment

36 hours per week or 144 hours per month

Honorarium

SGD$600 monthly

Additional transport allowance during the actual festival

Upon completion

Certificate of Completion

For education institution, a summary report is also available upon request

For interested individuals, send the following details by 21st June, Thursday.

Shortlisted individuals will be notified for interviews with the festival committee on 23rd June, Saturday.

Once accepted, interns will report to the festival office on 2nd July, Monday for an orientation briefing.
