Established in 1906, the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) is an internationally renowned business organisation and the apex body of the Chinese business community in Singapore. It is the founder of the biennial World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) and the World Chinese Business Network (WCBN), a global online business portal (www.wcbn.com.sg). It plays a proactive role in representing the interests of the local business community and contributing to the economic, educational, cultural and community development in Singapore. Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Handle account payable, account receivables and general ledger
- Prepare and check grants and incentives related tasks
- Reconcile bank statements and track payments and receipts
- Preparation of journal entries and postings
- Prepare monthly audit schedules
- Prepare and generate the monthly and yearly financial reports from system
- Quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents and other third parties
- Assist in other finance tasks as at when required
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess Diploma in accountancy or equivalent
- Familiar with ACCPAC system will be an advantage
- Good knowledge in GST
- Proficient with MS office Excel
- 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience
- Meticulous, well-organised and good interpersonal skill with positive attitude
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin
