Searix helps event and campaign organisers realise their creative and strategic visions by delivering reliable, innovative and agile web-based technology that transforms event and campaign experiences.
Since our founding in 2013, Searix has been a technology consultancy at heart, specializing in innovative rapid prototyping.
In 2015, we built our first barcode guest registration and lucky draw system for a corporate event. Since then, we’ve developed 32 more systems and they have been deployed at more than 1,700 events in 9 countries. These solutions range from custom redemption and referral systems to AR effects and interactive pop-up engagement.
It is our mission to bring more innovation and better experiences to events and campaigns across the world.

Job Description

As an Event Technology Operations Executive, your primary function will be to ensure the smooth and continued usage of our systems at event and campaign deployments at all times.

You will do this by being a product expert across the solutions that we have, and deploy them both online and on-site by setting up the appropriate equipment (e.g. laptops and routers) and configurations (e.g. background images and name lists), as well as doing testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the systems.

While most of your work can be done remotely, you will be required to be present at events in Singapore when we are engaged for them, and abide by the prevailing safety management protocols while at them.

Your job will involve:

  • Being on-site at events, of which many may occur on Friday and Saturday nights
  • Equipment maintenance. Ensuring that our devices are updated with the latest software and firmware
  • Systems testing. Ensuring that our system functions are working as intended after updates and customisations
  • Systems operations. Liaison with the team to ensure customisations are made. Configuration of systems. Setting up the required equipment on-site. Troubleshooting.
  • Account servicing and project management. Liaison between the team and the client on operationalising finalised deliverables.
  • Being an expert. Predicting problems that might occur given a situation, and performing pre-emptive measures.

You will:

  • Learn to use modern tools of a digital-centric workforce like a CRM (PipelineDeals / Pipedrive), Trello and Slack
  • Use the Kanban methodology to organise and prioritise work
  • Be at the forefront of software tech innovation in the events and campaigns industries

Key requirements:

  • Highly organised
  • High attention to detail
  • Fast learner with high cognitive ability
  • Ability to logically understand and assess processes
  • Independent and resourceful
  • Good situational awareness
  • Good command of English
