1) Accounts Payable Assistant
Accounting Intern can expect to participate in the preparation of daily Accounts Payable (AP) invoice posting into SAP. He/She should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.

He/She will be responsible for;

  • Shadowing members of the AP team as they perform their duties
  • Assisting with investigating, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records in SAP system
  • Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or suppliers
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations

2) Vendor reconciliation

Communicate with Forwarders suppliers to ensure Statement of Accounts reconciled.
He/She will be responsible for,

  • Perform monthly forwarders reconciliation report and submit on target deadline to controller for month end accrual
  • Closely follow-up with logistic colleagues and shared service center to ensure timely booking of supplier invoices

3) Business Travel Accounts
He/She will be responsible for;

  • Ensure business traveller submit propose approval documents
  • Assist supervisor to book the business airfare into SAP timely
  • Follow up on dispute and other issues as and when

4) Filing and Archive
He/She will be responsible for;

  • Support and coordinate with AP team on filing and archiving of documents

 

Qualifications

  • Preferably general knowledge of SAP system
  • Good Microsoft skills (Words, Excel, Pivot)
  • Good Communication skills
