Job Description
  • Responsible for the operations and maintenance of mechanical / process systems as the system owner.
  • Perform systematic design, engineering study and solution that lead to optimal performance, stability and reliability of the utilities supply system.
  • Ensure effective operation and maintenance without interruption of the installed facilities and equipment
  • Responsible for project execution, maintenance costing, operationality and progress control related to facilities system.
  • Follow up on projects relating to mechanical systems – including but not limited to HVAC System, Exhaust System (Acid / General / Silane / VOC / NOx), scrubbers, Waste water Systems, Compressor System, PCW System, Chilled Water System and Cooling Water System
  • Propose expansion/improvement project with concept design for utility areas, coordination with multiple teams to obtain relevant input to be included in the concept and design, and consider HSE, relevant regulations and codes in the intended country, best practices, space management and maintenance as well as daily operations tasks. Prepare technical tendering package for the system and prepare cost estimate and schedule for system.
  • Develop and implement energy management program including optimizing energy and utilities usages.
  • Embark on cost saving initiatives, feasibility study and map out cost reduction roadmap.
  • Manage outsource / external contractors in terms of safety/quality/operation/maintenance effectively.
  • Develop & review O&M specification, operating procedures with risk assessment, and ensure all documentation are regularly updated.
  • Conduct incident/accident investigation process including troubleshooting, root cause analysis and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed.
  • Responsible for process control, TPM, preventive / predictive maintenance of utilities systems.
  • Participate actively in key project such as cost reduction, system improvement, Facilities Cpk improvement, new facilities system development and qualification, new material evaluation/ qualification, etc.
  • Conduct monthly meetings to review key KPIs with vendors.
  • Conduct frequent site inspections and attend site meetings to ensure high quality standard work and timely delivery in accordance to schedule.
  • Ensure compliance to safety, health and environmental rules/regulation/policy with respect to safety, hazardous substance/flammable material management, ERT and permit to work systems.
  • Manage work permit application & LOTO
  • Ensure system compliance to ISO standards
  • Standby 24/7 to response back to company for emergency activation.
  • Conduct Facilities System FMEA, RCM & SPC, job observation layer audits and risk assessments.

Qualifications

  • Possess professional Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Chemical engineering
  • Relevant experience in Mechanical/HVAC/process System for Senior Engineer Position
