Our client is a well-known high end luxury fashion brand who's searching for a Merchandising Assistant (6 months contract) based in office that can help support the Leather Goods, Watches & Jewellery team in all aspects of managing the business in Singapore. The main key aspects of the role include event organization, summit coordination, product tools creation, sales reporting and recaps, product request follow-up, sample management, competitive analysis and other administrative support for the team.  

Job Description

Merchandising Assistant ( 6 Months ) Contract | Immediate


Profiles will either be placed under the Leather Goods (LG) or Watches & Jewellery (W&J) Department to assist based on your expertise/experience. 

 

  • To support the Merchandising Managers responsible for the Leather Goods, Watches & Jewellery business creating look books, order books and packing lists, coordinating sample delivery between warehouse and boutiques, corporate and stores and entering client orders during events. 
  • With strong analytical skills, you will work to provide recaps to the team and create PowerPoint presentations when needed and you will support in providing competitive analysis with monthly store performance recaps. 
  • To monitor overall sample inventory through Fashion GPS for training and events while maintaining the sample closet, tracking of production and delivery, and communication on the status of each piece. 
  • Will also be the main point of contact for stores and the office team to execute orders and troubleshoot client issues; regularly updating the intranet ensuring accurate information is shared.
  • To also be responsible for improving the current reporting process to improve efficiency or creating new reports.

Desired Requirements:

  • Individuals with one to two years of experience in Merchandising Analysis/Merchandising Coordinator/Assistant, preferably in the retail industry, that have a strong product sensibility and knowledge of the competitive landscape with a passion for the luxury industry.
  • To have exceptional MS Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical abilities, such as organizing, evaluating, and interpreting data.
  • Will have to possess a service-oriented mentality, be highly driven, organized, proactive, and detail oriented with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines and you will have exceptional communication skills.
  • Lastly, to have the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while being able to manage priorities, remain self-motivated, and collaborate with other areas of the business.
