The role

qlub is scaling fast across markets worldwide, and we look for people who take real ownership of their work. As our next People Intern, you'll help drive our growth in Singapore: building, shipping, and delivering results from day one. You'll work closely with operators and partners to turn frictionless payments into real growth for restaurants. If you thrive in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment, this role is for you.

What you’ll own:

• HR Data & Reporting: Be the trusted source of truth for our people data. You'll keep headcount and employee records sharp and accurate, pull together monthly reports that leadership actually relies on, and help keep our HR systems humming — clean data, real-time visibility, zero surprises.

• Documentation & Compliance: From contracts to invoices, you'll own the paperwork that keeps things running smoothly and compliantly, building an organized system that the whole team can count on.

• Employee Lifecycle Management: You'll help design onboarding experiences that make new hires feel welcome from day one, and manage offboarding with the same level of care and professionalism.

• Recruitment Support: You'll take charge of end-to-end recruitment processes — coordinate interviews, keep candidate pipelines organized, and help create a hiring experience that leaves a great first impression. 

• Employee Engagement: Whether it's a team celebration or a culture-building event, you'll help bring ideas to life that make this a genuinely great place to work.

• Regional People Operations: Get exposure across multiple countries and teams. You'll support high-impact regional projects, jump into ad hoc challenges, and collaborate with colleagues across the business — making you a go-to partner for People operations at scale.

Who you are:

• You've done this before in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

• You move fast and make strong decisions with incomplete information

• You take real ownership and think like an operator, not a coordinator

• You're energized by hard problems in payments, hospitality, and customer experience

What you’ll need:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with HR systems

• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and Chinese; ability to speak Cantonese is a plus

• Passionate about people, learning, and building a career in HR

• A proactive, hands-on learner who is eager to take on new challenges in a regional setting

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, hospitality tech, or a high-growth marketplace
