Financial Advisor

About This Role

Provides financial advisory services to individual and corporate clients. You will assess clients' financial needs and recommend suitable insurance and investment solutions from Prudential's product range. The role is commission-based and reports to the Associate Wealth Director. All new representatives complete a structured training programme covering products, sales processes, client servicing and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop prospective clients through referrals, events, roadshows and other approved prospecting channels

• Conduct fact-finding and needs analysis to assess clients' financial circumstances and objectives

• Recommend suitable financial solutions in the areas of:

  • Protection

  • Hospital and accident coverage

  • Savings and investment

  • Retirement and CPF-related planning

  • Estate planning

  • Business insurance

• Prepare and present financial plans in line with MAS guidelines and Prudential's policies

• Carry out regular portfolio reviews and handle policy servicing requests

• Help clients and beneficiaries with claims submissions

• Keep accurate client records and complete administrative work through Prudential's systems

• Achieve individual activity and production targets, and report progress to the team leader

• Attend all mandatory training, team meetings and continuing professional development sessions

• Comply at all times with the Financial Advisers Act, MAS regulations and company compliance standards

Requirements

• Minimum [Diploma] or equivalent

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident 

• Must pass, or be willing to obtain, the required CMFAS modules [RES5, M9, M9A, HI]

• Must meet MAS Fit and Proper criteria

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work independently

• Able to attend client appointments outside standard office hours when needed

• Prior experience in sales or financial services is an advantage but not required
