Job Description

Supply Chain Intern (2 Positions)


Pratt and Whitney offers a internship program that is designed to provide students valuable experience in a leading US MNC. This internship is for full-time students enrolled in an accredited university and or Polytechnic.

We are looking for a talented, driven and meticulous intern to join the Supply Chain Department. This role will be reporting to the Supply Chain / Purchasing Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Assist on receiving parts. Checks delivery slips.
  • Assists with unloading as necessary.
  • Unpacks parts.
  • Verifies the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents.
  • Organizes distribution and shipping of parts/orders.
  • Makes necessary verifications against documents, prepares the parts/orders and moves to the appropriate area.
  • Participates in taking inventory.
  • Maintains storage area, organizes and places stock on shelves.
  • Ensures area is secure at all times.
  • Support ACE activities, such as 6S and QCPC
  • Set up standard work, Kaizen events (Poly)

Requirements

  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Good in MS office and EXCEL
  • Outstanding command of English, both spoken and written
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Keen to work with multiple timelines
  • Student must be an existing full-time student in a local institution
  • Student must be willing to work in Seletar or East office (company bus provided)
