Being a part of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the baking and decorating process:

- Preparation of cakes and desserts according to recipes
- Ensure product quality is maintained
- Meticulous in following recipes to minimise wastage
- Able to do frost and decorate cakes; 2D fondant decorations as well as 3D figure modelling
- Assist to develop new cake flavors and dessert menu
- Assist in developing new and customised cake designs
- Planning, designing and setting up dessert tables
- Maintaining and enforcing kitchen cleanliness according to standards

The candidate should have at least 1 year experience in:
- Baking, frosting and cake decorating
- Fondant decorations (Knowledge in fondant cakes will be a bonus)

- Excellent communication skills
- Responsible, with a positive learning attitude
- Strong work ethics
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-pace environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as being a team player
- An eye for detail and having a sense of current trends and aesthetics
- Meticulous in workflow to minimise wastage
- Poly/Uni students with relevant experience and mature mindset welcome
- Food handler certification

Job Type: Part-time; Min commitment 2 days a week, including at least 1 weekend

Salary: $7.50 - $12/hour
