Papa Palheta Pte Ltd – Accounts Executive (AP)

As a coffee company at heart, we operate a diversified company with business segments in wholesale, F&B, retail, education, commercial distribution – all related to specialty coffee. Naturally, this demands a strong accounting team as the backbone of the business. As the nerve centre of the group, this is where you can sense how business operations of an SME, translate into profits on paper.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in setup of new cloud-based accounting system including creation & maintenance of Chart of Accounts (COA)
2. Maintenance of trade creditors sub-ledgers and reconciliation of the sub-ledgers to the General Ledger
3. Petty Cash vouchers and staff expense claims vouchers coding and data entry
4. Supplier invoices coding and data entry, and preparing payments when due
5. Payment voucher data entry
6. Perform monthly bank reconciliation to ensure integrity of the bank balances

Educational Qualifications

• LCCI Advance level, diploma in accounting or studying for accounting degree

Skills Required

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with Xero accounting software preferred
• 1 to 2 year of work experience, preferably in the Food Services / Retail sector
