Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented logistics intern to join our rapidly growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn different warehousing processes, inventory management, and stakeholder coordination while working in a fast-paced environment. As a logistics intern, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to warehouse documentation, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, process improvements, and cost savings. Additionally, the ideal candidate will act as a bridge between warehouse and transport processes, ensuring efficient operations throughout the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Learn different warehousing processes and gain hands-on experience in areas such as inventory management, control, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure a seamless flow of goods and information, maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate warehouse documentation, adhering to GMP guidelines and emphasizing safety protocols.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing errors, increasing efficiency, and minimizing costs.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures through careful analysis of warehouse and transport processes.
  • Act as a liaison between warehouse operations and transport processes, ensuring timely delivery and coordination of goods.

Requirements 

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in a relevant discipline. 
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness in all activities.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and results-focused mindset, driving continuous improvement and learning.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating clear and concise exchanges with team members and stakeholders.
  • A positive thinker and a team player, contributing to a supportive atmosphere while working towards common goals.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft suite of applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
