Octava Digital Assets is the digital assets team for a Singapore-based family office. We invest across the spectrum from seed to publicly traded cryptocurrencies. The group also operates a bitcoin mining farm in Kazakhstan.

About Our Internship Program

Octava Digital Assets Internship is a 10+ weeks program for students interested in working in the crypto space.

• Hands on experience with the full investment cycle on live active deals, from initial deal sourcing to funding
• We’ll challenge you by putting you on live deals and discussions – the best opportunity for you to learn and grow
• Gain exposure to numerous focus areas such as NFTs, DeFi, GameFi etc.

The Role

• Sourcing and Qualification
• Outreach and ongoing communication with founders and CEOs
• Identifying and nurturing venture capital investment opportunities
• Evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and preparing investment memos

• Ability to communicate and sell new ideas and strategy insights clearly to internal stakeholders
• Team player with strong leadership skills - you take ownership of your responsibilities within the team and have a net positive effect on your teammates
• Great work ethic and attention to detail
• A structured mindset and the ability to think critically and independently
• A hands-on and self-starter working style

Your Background 

• A strong passion for cryptocurrencies and its surrounding ecosystems
• Experience in financial modelling and data analysis
• Crypto experience in an investing and/or operating capacity is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• We are looking for candidates that are eager to understand how evolving industries create opportunities and business models that will thrive in future markets
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a technical field preferred, students awaiting matriculation into university are welcome to apply
• Must be able to commit to a minimum duration of 3 months
