Novelship is seeking a Data Analyst Intern based in Singapore to join our team. The period for this internship is 3-6 months, starting ASAP.
As Novelship’s data analyst, you will play an important role in delivering high quality and comprehensive analysis to support respective business needs. You will conduct analysis and measure the impact of the work done by the Product, Design, Marketing and Operations teams.
As one of the in-house experts of our data, you will work together with key stakeholders, to improve business processes and help to shape Novelship’s growth strategy.
In this role you will:
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and utilize data to drive business decisions across multiple teams within the company
- Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze performance of new features and help with research for upcoming features
- Create and maintain dashboards to help the finance team and relevant stakeholders to generate regular investor/external data reports
- Work with the product manager and engineering team to implement new analytics tools and tracking points to bolster Novelship’s data practice
- Analyze user behavior and patterns in order to shape a personalized experience for every Novelship shopper
Who we are looking for:
- Excellent communicator with presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Passionate about data and solving challenging problems
- Curious and strategic thinker with analytical skills, ability to draw connections using data and able to provide actionable recommendations
- A quick learner, proactive, and able to work independently in startup environment
Requirements:
- Pursuing BSC/MSC in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Proficient in Excel and SQL skills
- Familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Looker
