National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre – Intern, Knowledge & Insights

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is the steward of the City of Good vision for Singapore, where individuals, organisations, and leaders come together to give their best for others. Through our brands, programmes, and initiatives, we facilitate partnerships with non-profits, organisations, public sector bodies, and individuals to enliven the giving ecosystem within Singapore. • The intern will join a team that is currently working on NVPC's National Corporate Purpose Study. The research study is near completion for the data collection phase. The next steps include:

  • Data processing, including cleaning and augmenting the dataset from secondary sources, mainly on publicly listed companies for additional objective information.
  • Conducting analysis on subsets of the processed dataset.
  • Produce summary of findings with guidance.

Qualifications

• Any quantitative related fields with social research training/courses preferred.
• Familiarity with Excel and any other statistical tools (e.g. SPSS) is a plus.
