Part-Time Outing Facilitator – Students Welcome

About the Role
Edufarm organises educational, heritage and recreational outings and experiential programmes across Singapore.
We are looking for friendly, responsible and energetic Part-Time Outing Facilitators to support our participants during these programmes.
This is a flexible part-time opportunity suitable for polytechnic, ITE and university students who enjoy interacting with people and would like to gain experience in events, community engagement, hospitality or programme facilitation.
Assignments are offered on an ad-hoc basis, and applicants may indicate their availability for individual dates.

Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Location: Sentosa

Time: 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Location: Sentosa
Duration: 3 hours
Programme activities may include:
- Sentosa Cable Car experience
- Sensoryscape walk
- Attractions and sightseeing
- Meals
- Group coordination
- Photo-taking
- Simple interactive activities
More outing assignments may also be available from time to time.
Your Responsibilities
- Welcome and accompany participants throughout the outing
- Assist with registration and headcount
- Help keep the group together when moving between locations
- Guide participants along the programme route
- Assist with boarding, alighting and general movement where required
- Support simple games, activities and photo-taking
- Help communicate meeting points and programme timings
- Assist the lead facilitator with general group coordination
- Maintain a friendly, patient and positive atmosphere throughout the programme
Who We Are Looking For
No previous experience is required.
We welcome applicants who are:
- Students or young adults looking for flexible part-time work
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable interacting with people
- Patient and responsible
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Able to walk and stand for approximately 3 hours
- Punctual and dependable
- Comfortable assisting with group coordination
- Willing to work as part of a team
Applicants who can communicate in Mandarin, Chinese dialects, Malay or other local languages are especially welcome, although this is not compulsory.Experience in events, hospitality, tourism, community programmes, camps or facilitation is useful but not required.
