National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre – Intern, Branding & Content

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is the steward of the City of Good vision for Singapore, where individuals, organisations, and leaders come together to give their best for others.

Through our brands, programmes, and initiatives, we facilitate partnerships with non-profits, organisations, public sector bodies, and individuals to enliven the giving ecosystem within Singapore.

The intern’s main duties include content creation for NVPC’s web, social, email marketing channels. This involves skill in copywriting and storytelling. Supporting projects include simple design work, like adapting key visuals for social media and email marketing channels.

Responsibilities

• Creating a mixture of short- and long-form content for NVPC’s website, social media and email marketing channels. These include NVPC’s TikTok channel
• Work with the Branding & Content team to contribute to the content planning process
• Where needed, liaise with newsmakers and external bodies to conduct interviews and produce content
• Help with simple design work, such as adapting or resizing key visuals for social media and email marketing

Requirements

• Familiar with key social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. 
• Have strong written and communication skills
• A self-motivated individual
• A reliable and a good team player
• A keen eye for style and aesthetics
• Basic proficiency in Illustrator or Photoshop
• An interest in social causes and current affairs
