Ascend Assurance is looking for a creative and motivated intern with a passion for content creation, digital marketing and personal branding. The intern will focus on developing and strengthening the personal brand and online presence of the company's Director, while supporting Ascend Assurance's overall corporate branding and marketing efforts.

Please note: This is strictly a marketing and content creation role. The intern will not be involved in financial advisory, selling financial products, prospecting clients or providing financial advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Director's Personal Branding: Develop and strengthen the Director's personal brand through engaging, authentic and strategic digital content.

• Content Creation: Plan, film and edit videos, social media posts and other digital content showcasing the Director's expertise, leadership style, insights and professional journey.

• Social Media Management: Assist in managing and growing the Director's social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.

• Corporate Branding: Create content that showcases Ascend Assurance's culture, values, team and career opportunities.

• Content Strategy: Develop content calendars, brainstorm creative ideas and identify relevant social media trends to increase audience reach and engagement.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media or a related field.

• Experience or a strong interest in personal branding, content creation and social media marketing.

• Familiarity with platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.

• Basic knowledge of video editing and graphic design tools such as CapCut and Canva.

• Creative, proactive and comfortable working independently.

• Strong communication skills and an eye for detail.

• A portfolio of previous content creation or marketing projects would be an advantage.
