Digital Transformation – Internship Programme
Reports to Business Analyst, Digital Transformation
Purpose of role
The intern would support the Digital Transformation Department in Project Falcon (Management Dashboards). He/She would support the daily data flow process between the Commodity Trading & Risk Management System (CTRM) and the Dashboard (Power BI) in an accurate and timely manner. This role would also involve assisting in the continuous improvement of the process and working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. Market Risk) to ensure data quality and integrity.
Job Responsibilities
1. Data Extraction (30%)
• Daily data extraction of data (i.e price, position, P&L) from Entrade and uploading of data onto Falcon Dashboard
2. Data maintenance (30%)
• Daily maintenance of Falcon Dashboard and Python data transformation script
3. Collaboration and Communication with Market Risk (15%)
• Close communication with Market Risk team on data accuracy and timeliness of reports
4. Process improvements (15%)
• Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions of data flow
5. Development support (10%)
• Support in development of Iron Ore daily position / P&L Reconciliation tool
Knowledge and Experience
• Major in Business, Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Accounting
• Commodities background exposure (good to have)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Required)
• Handling of data and processes (Required)
• Data Visualization Tools e.g Power BI, Tableau (Good to have)
• Coding / Scripting e.g Phyton (Good to have)

• Able to multi-task and is open to a breadth of tasks due to smaller setup
• Enthusiastic and versatile with a great attitude
• Strong sense of ownership for project/tasks and responsibility
