Job Description

The Youth Intern shall assist staff in the planning, coordination and operations of the Association’s youth programmes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Be mentored by staff of the ACTS Division (Youth Leadership & Development Department) to support in the planning, execution, and evaluation of youth engagement, equipping, and empowerment programmes and events pertaining to current youth trends/needs.
2. Assist in youth mentoring, facilitation of leadership and development orientation and trainings, and liaison with partners for funding, regulatory, volunteerism and outreach work.
3. Support in volunteers recruitment; and work with existing volunteers to strengthen youth development.
4. Support in administrative work and ensure recording of beneficiaries' information is accurate, updated, easily accessible, and kept as intellectual properties of the Association.
5. Assist in coordination of fund raising efforts like Flag Day, Fun Fair, Walkathon, etc.
6. Actively support the Association’s Christian Emphasis, Community Services and other corporate and fund-raising projects.
7. Attend meetings, workshops and seminars as required.
8. Self-reflect and review progress with supervisors, to support the mentoring process.

Undertake any other responsibility as may be assigned from time to time.
